Aquent is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join a full-service marketing agency that offers tailored, creative solutions designed to challenge traditional agency approaches. Overall Responsibilities:
* User Research and Analysis: Conduct user research, analyze user needs, and create personas to inform design decisions.
* Wireframing and Prototyping: Design wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate ideas and solutions effectively.
* UI/UX Design: Create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for websites, apps, and other digital products, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
* Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with developers, marketers, and other designers to ensure cohesive and functional designs that meet project objectives.
* Usability Testing: Plan, execute, and analyze usability testing sessions to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement.
* Iterative Design Process: Continuously refine designs based on feedback from stakeholders, user testing, and analytics data.
* Accessibility Compliance: Ensure designs adhere to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) to create inclusive user experiences.
* Interaction Design: Develop micro-interactions and animations to enhance the user experience and engagement.
* Strategic Problem-Solving: Translate business goals and user needs into effective design solutions.
* Design Systems and Guidelines: Establish and maintain design systems, patterns, and guidelines to ensure consistency across projects.
* Data-Driven Design Decisions: Use analytics, heatmaps, and user feedback to optimize user flows and improve the overall user experience.
* Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering skill development and best practices.
* Client Communication: Present design concepts, gather feedback, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
* Trend Awareness: Stay updated on UI/UX trends, tools, and techniques to bring innovative ideas to projects.
* Time Management: Handle multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality design standards.
Requirements
* Experience in UI/UX design, preferably in an agency or similar fast-paced environment.
* A strong portfolio showcasing user-centered designs, wireframes, prototypes, and case studies that demonstrate problem-solving and design thinking.
* Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and Photoshop/Illustrator.
* Proficiency in prototyping tools.
* Hands-on experience conducting user research, usability testing, and applying user feedback to improve designs.
* Strong communication and presentation skills to convey ideas and gather stakeholder buy-in.
