Job Description:
You will work within the firm's Insider Risk function to conduct complex and confidential investigations into incidents of data loss and intellectual property theft.
Partnering with and reporting into the Manager of Insider Risk, as the Investigations Specialist, you will work closely with HR, Legal, and technical teams to detect and respond to potential insider threat activity.
This role involves driving complex investigations to closure through proactive detection, investigative and interviewing experience.
You will conduct interviews, write reports clearly and concisely, and provide recommendations to leadership on mitigation strategies. Your daily tasks will include using technical tools and collaborating with legal, security operations, and HR to resolve cases and address technical gaps. You will be responsible for successfully managing insider risk cases from investigation to resolution, including interviews and mitigation efforts.
You will build relationships with stakeholders across the firm to become a trusted partner, helping to enhance the firm's ability to prevent, detect, and respond to insider threats.
* 7+ years of experience in conducting investigations and supporting a global program
* Experience in presenting findings and recommendations related to complex technical investigations to leadership
* Expertise in investigative analysis, including analyzing signals from security tools, correlating logs from multiple data sources, and reviewing forensic/endpoint artifacts
* Hands-on experience with data loss prevention and insider threat tools
* Ability to quickly learn new technologies to support organizational goals
* Ability to deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
* Maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct
