Paralegal - Dispute Resolution Team, Bath
We are currently recruiting for a Paralegal to join our Dispute Resolution team in Bath. The role provides an important link between the client and the firm, with responsibilities for aspects of file management under supervision.
Responsibilities include:
1. Assist with fee earning tasks to manage a caseload or handle low value/pre-funded cases under supervision of qualified lawyers, performing routine tasks.
2. Draft legal documents using templates and precedents, ensuring they address relevant issues and accurately reflect client instructions.
3. Conduct legal research using appropriate methods, presenting findings clearly and accurately.
4. Identify and escalate issues to qualified lawyers.
5. Provide excellent client service, adhering to the firm’s Client Experience principles.
6. Learn and comply with firm policies on confidentiality, data security, and file management.
7. Ensure compliance with external standards such as Legal Aid and Land Registry requirements.
8. Verify that all work complies with risk management policies, including anti-money laundering procedures and file audits.
9. Perform administrative duties related to the role.

* Maintain and update the CRM system, acting as a super user and building relationships with third parties under supervision.

Skills, Attributes, and Experience:
* Legal qualifications such as LLB or CILEx are desirable.
* Experience in legal support or administrative roles.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant IT platforms.
* Good understanding of client relationship management.
* Ability to undertake basic legal tasks under supervision and use initiative.
