Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual to join our team as an E-commerce and customer support coordinator. This role involves maintaining our online product catalogue, ensuring accurate product uploads, and providing excellent customer support. You’ll be working behind the scenes to ensure our website is up to date while also assisting customers with orders and inquiries via email, chat, and phone.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry & Product Management
1. Utilise Microsoft Excel to accurately upload and maintain product listings, descriptions, and prices on our website.
2. Ensure product information, specifications, and stock levels are correctly displayed.
3. Monitor and maintain database integrity, flagging any inconsistencies.
4. Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize product descriptions for SEO.
Customer Service
1. Manage incoming orders and ensure they are processed correctly.
2. Help with picking, packing, and shipping orders.
3. Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone, ensuring a prompt and friendly experience.
4. Assist customers with order tracking, product information, and website navigation.
5. Process returns, exchanges, and refunds as per company policies.
6. Address and resolve customer complaints efficiently, escalating when necessary.
Skills & Qualifications
1. Previous experience in data entry, e-commerce, or customer service preferred.
2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Comfortable using e-commerce platforms (Shopify) and data management tools (Excel).
5. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
6. Passion for surfing or knowledge of surf products is a plus!
