NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. This is a permanent, fulltime post of 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday.
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde are looking to recruit a motivated, passionate, committed individual to lead the Care Home Collaborative Service which provides integrated, collaborative and coordinated support across the care home sector.
As lead nurse, you will provide expert professional advice to the board on statutory and regulatory nursing requirements and assuring the Board of their delivery as part of the Enhanced Professional Clinical and Care Support and Assurance of care homes and care settings.
You will lead the Care Home Collaborative team, implementation and delivery of the national My Health, My Care, My Home Healthcare Framework to improve the health, wellbeing, and experiences of care home residents, their families and staff.
It is essential you are a Registered Nurse, Nurse/Midwife or with substantial clinical, operational and line management experience. You should also have a degree, supplemented by specialist training or equivalent experience in this area of responsibility to masters level or equivalent. A recognised leadership/ Management qualification and/or equivalent experience would be beneficial.
