The Tasmanian State Service (TSS) is the largest employer in Tasmania, with over 28,000 employees providing services to the Tasmanian community at all levels.
The North Eastern Soldiers Memorial Hospital (NESMH) is an 18 inpatient bed sub-acute District Hospital in the northeast of Tasmania, complemented by a 3-bed emergency department and allied health services. The hospital serves a catchment area of more than 3200 square kms and provides community nursing and home help services.
The Role:
* This position will be required to work as part of the clinical team, which includes ANUM, Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and Health Care Assistants.
* Provide clinical care to subacute inpatients, including palliative care.
* Provide clinical support to emergency presentations.
Details of Appointment:
Fixed term, part-time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working up to 16 hours per fortnight, from 1 March 2025 until 4 October 2026. Hours are to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $78,179 to $105,995 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $99,455- $105,995 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4.
In addition, the following allowances may be available:
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.
* Remote and Rural Professional Development Allowance of an additional salary allowance of 4%.
