Senior External Sales Manager
Location: Northamptonshire
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 basic + performance bonus (OTE £70K+)

About the Role:
The business is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior External Sales Manager to drive continued growth and success.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will take responsibility for both your own sales pipeline and supporting the wider team to meet targets and build strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and develop existing customer relationships to maximise sales opportunities
Lead and motivate sales teams by setting a high-performance example
Generate and secure new project leads and trading accounts
Drive daily sales through excellent service, relationship-building, and trust
Meet or exceed sales targets in terms of turnover and gross profit
Participate in business planning and regular review meetings with the senior management team
Promote the company's brand and values in the marketplace
Collaborate with management to secure resources and support for customer success
Stay informed about new and updated product offerings
What We're Looking For:
A confident and enthusiastic sales leader with a proactive, self-managed approach
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and support others
A proven track record in external sales within the electrical wholesale industry
A team player with a commercial mindset and a focus on long-term customer relationships
Experience in mentoring or guiding sales teams is advantageous
Full, clean UK driving licence required
