We are assisting a well-established, multi-service firm in the Midlands seeking Conveyancing support for their newly opened Market Harborough office. In this role, you will work alongside a fee earner, assisting with managing sale files from start to finish while providing support to the wider team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in residential conveyancing, as support with progression and career development will be offered.
Responsibilities include:
* Taking client instructions and verifying ID, source of funds, and gift deposits
* Preparing and issuing sales contracts
* Requesting mortgage redemption figures
* Transcribing dictation
* Responding to sales enquiries for both freehold and leasehold properties
* Drafting sales completion statements
* Ordering and reviewing property searches
* Preparing transfer deeds
* Keeping clients and agents updated on case progress
* Managing the exchange of contracts for sales and purchases
* Requesting mortgage advances and conducting pre-completion searches
* Coordinating and setting up property completions
* Handling post-completion tasks
What we need from you:
* Some experience in a Conveyancing team is essential
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work well under pressure with a calm and resilient approach
* Excellent keyboard and word processing skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Positive, friendly, and professional demeanor
* Strong organisational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
* Team player with a proactive attitude
