About the Role - Timber Frame Machine Operator Join our production team to program, set up, and operate our advanced Hundegger CNC machines, ensuring the precise fabrication of bespoke timber components that form the framework of our timber frame buildings. Key Responsibilities: Program, set up, and operate CNC machinery to produce timber components to exact specifications. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files with accuracy. Perform regular quality control assessments to maintain our high production standards. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC equipment as needed. Maintain accurate production records and communicate any deviations or issues. Collaborate with design and assembly teams to optimise production processes. Ensure a clean, organised, and safe working environment while adhering to safety protocols. What We're Looking For: Skilled in reading technical drawings and using CAD files. Ability to perform maintenance and resolve technical issues efficiently. Ensure timber is handled and processed with care and accuracy Someone who enjoys working with timber, whether from a workshop, carpentry, or timber framing background Experience with CNC machines is helpful, but training is provided for the right person Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and in a team. Physically fit, well-organised, positive attitude with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
