Logistics Operative Brize Norton, Carterton, Oxfordshire, OX18 3LX Permanent Full Time £22,843.58 per annum plus benefits Are you interested in working and exploring the opportunities in Logistics supporting the RAF and MOD? We have an exciting opportunity to join the Logistics team as a Logistics Operative. You will play a vital role in the logistical support of the Royal Air Force, helping to fulfil its operational and peacetime obligations. You will be responsible for the distribution, handling and stock control of materials, helping to sustain a modern Whole Force team. You will work alongside Serco and RAF colleagues to achieve the daily operational output within the storage and warehouse areas as well as within an office environment and out delivering stock around the base. Main accountabilities: Frequent use of IT systems to manage emails and stock control Storekeeping and day to day management of stock Issuing & receipt of goods Delivery of stock items around the station Operation of Material Handling Equipment (forklifts) What you'll need to do the role: Full UK Cat C1 driving licence Experience in a Supply Chain or Logistics environment. Must be a team player with a focus on delivering excellent customer service Basic IT skills Forklift licence (Desirable but not essential as training will be provided) This role also requires flexibility to attend off site training when required/ be able to attend, and pass, MoD specific modular logistics training on site or at MOD Worthy Down.
