Handle Recruitment are looking for an experienced Affiliate SEO Manager to own and support top funnel Affiliate traffic growth across Vogue, GLAMOUR, GQ, House & Garden and Condé Nast Traveller.
With a focus on driving Search traffic to Conde Nast Shopping content, this role will work closely with our Commerce Editors to inform content strategy, monitor traffic and influence affiliate revenue against targets.
Pay: Upwards of £325 a day based on experience
Location: Central London, Hybrid

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
The right candidate will be a top-of-funnel audience acquisition expert, who understands the UK editorial landscape, as well as the role that different channels play in the research, consideration, and purchase funnel.
The role reports into the UK Commerce Director and will be working closely with Commerce Editorial, Global SEO and Audience development. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of editorial SEO and audience development at a publisher, news site, agency, or similar.
1. Lead and develop top-of-funnel traffic acquisition strategies for affiliate Commerce Content
2. Work with UK Commerce Editorial leads to create acquisition strategies for each title with the aim of reaching audiences with high-purchase intent and driving revenue
3. Day-to-day execution of organic search engine optimisation including keyword research, content gap recommendations, strategic optimisation of existing content, competitor analysis, site improvements, and ad hoc SEO support
4. Perform regular content SEO audits and report on Commerce traffic weekly
5. Monitor traffic following algorithm updates and act fast to recover after traffic drops
6. Run reports, measure performance, and share analysis with stakeholders. Propose improvements/alternative approaches.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
1. Proven track record in Audience Development and SEO, preferably for a major media/publishing organisation, or agency working on editorial content
2. Professional experience with publishing and analytics tools, such as Dash Hudson, Listen First, Sailthru, Apple News Publisher, Parse.ly, and Google Analytics or equivalents
3. Strong understanding of third-party enterprise SEO tools (e.g. Pi Datametrics, SEMRush)
4. Adherence to the highest standards of SEO
5. Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
