Job Overview:
As our Transport Planning division expands, we're seeking enthusiastic individuals to join this fully functioning team. In an idea world they would like to find someone at the earlier stages of their career, with one to three years experience and a good grounding in Transport Planning. In this role you'll play a pivotal part in supporting our client's team across a spectrum of projects throughout the UK. From drafting reports to facilitating road junction redesigns for evolving transport demands, you'll tackle diverse challenges daily.
As a relative newcomer to Transport Planning, you'll undergo comprehensive training and progressively assume greater responsibilities as your expertise flourishes. Expect involvement in projects spanning the planning process, including site assessments, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration with authorities to navigate development hurdles. With a flat reporting structure you'll enjoy autonomy backed by team support from the outset.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Drafting Transport Assessments and Statements
2. Crafting Travel Plans and coordinating their implementation
3. Presenting technical data and drawings
4. Conducting junction capacity assessments utilizing ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG
5. Liaising with clients, contractors, and authorities as needed
6. Assisting with various traffic/transport tasks under Team Leader guidance
Qualifications / Experience:
7. Bachelor's degree in Geography, Urban Planning, Transport Planning, or related field
8. Genuine interest in pursuing a career in Transportation Planning and development
9. Eagerness to learn and adapt
10. Strong written communication skills with audience engagement expertise
11. Proficiency in quantitative analysis
12. Effective verbal communication skills
