The Role
As Managing Practitioner within the Assessment Team you will be responsible for the supervision of family support workers and support of the team which includes experienced social workers, ASYE’s and student social workers on placement.
You will support the team manager in chairing strategy meetings, CIN meetings and undertaking case reviews at identified check points in the assessment process, and supporting staff in improving overall quality of work undertaken with families via reflective group supervisions and a solution focused approach of working in partnership with children, young people and families to ensure that they are safeguarded and able to achieve positive outcomes.
You will contribute to safeguarding and risk management both within Children’s Safeguarding and with partner agencies.
