CWP Baseline & Change Manager
Description & Background:
The Baseline & Change Management discipline at HPC is accountable for managing the administration of approved baselines and establishing Change Management processes through a Project Change Board (PCB) model. This role ensures project scope, budget, and schedule remain aligned with approved changes while maintaining strict governance frameworks for budget transfers and contingency draw-downs.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Support effective utilization of change management process and governance
• Coordinate change management processes across Delivery Programme
• Assist in developing and managing baseline management strategies and procedures
• Coordinate change inputs across project and PMO
• Ensure change governance process aligns with reporting cycles
• Monitor quality of change proposals against baseline
• Support production of monthly Baseline & Change reports
• Organize and manage weekly/monthly routines ensuring data consistency
• Advise Project Managers and Supply Chain on change control procedures
• Facilitate PCB meetings and change requests for engineering teams
• Provide training on change management processes and tools
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Degree level education or equivalent experience
• Professional experience in Programme, Project Controls, or Commercial Management
• Knowledge of project structures (WBS & CBS)
• Understanding of change control principles
• Experience managing contractors in complex construction programmes
• Knowledge of Project Control processes and tools
• Understanding of standard contract forms and workflows
