We are looking for a Payroll Administrator for a 12 Month Day Rate Contract based in Derby on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs. Job Description - The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to manage and process employee payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments. Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader within the Payroll and Expenses area, this role is vital in ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees.
As a Payroll Administrator you will be responsible for:
The delivery of Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators, as agreed with the business.
Providing a Payroll service to include pre and post payroll reports, managing starter and leaver records, monitoring family leave and absence cases, input and audit of statutory and voluntary deductions, customer support and other administration duties. Maintain records to legislative standards and keep How To guides up to date.
Working closely with GBS People Service Team, Taxation, the business areas and the employee to deliver an accurate payroll. Good verbal and written communication skills essential.
Complying with Company policies and Governmental requirements, to arrange payment of employee salaries. Have an understanding of PAYE and National Insurance Legislation, and up to date with other payroll related legislation.
Being IT literate with a working knowledge of SAP P&K and Workday (advantageous).
Being customer focussed; committed to service delivery, have excellent communication and analytical skills, and a can-do attitude. The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines is essential.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Payroll qualification advantageous
