You'll lead a talented team consisting of editors, reporters, sub editors and freelancers. We're growing fast, so expect to welcome more team members soon, especially in podcasting and video.
Your Mission
To champion high-quality content in digital technology: You'll oversee the creation and distribution of long-form exclusive pieces across our platforms, engage our community through social media and newsletters, and lead your team in delivering original, informative, and entertaining content on the future of digital technology. We're looking at tech through the lens of business, finance, and culture, and we need you to bring it all into focus.
You won't be working in a silo. You'll be collaborating closely with our events, social media, design, and commercial teams to ensure our editorial strategy is cohesive, impactful, and aligned with our business goals.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking an experienced editorial leader with a visionary mindset and a passion for technology. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and develop overarching editorial themes with long-term relevance. Ideally, you have a proven track record of creating flexible editorial strategies that balance proactive planning with agile responsiveness to emerging trends.
We value creative problem-solvers who think outside the box and envision multifaceted approaches to content distribution. Your ability to dive deep into complex issues, extracting meaningful insights and compelling narratives, is crucial. With impeccable English and a talent for mentoring, you should be adept at aligning editorial vision with broader organisational goals. The right individual will thrive in our dynamic start-up environment, bringing both experience and fresh perspectives to shape Digital Frontier's ambitious future.
