We are looking for anevents industry professional that can deliver complex zone ex eventplans including HVM TM Car Parks Security & Stewardingwhilst managing direct reports at other key venues across the UKfrom London to Burnley and everything inbetween.
When not on site you will beat our head office in Coventry creating traffic & crowdmanagement plans and risk assessments whilst preparing for weekenddeployments the role involves working late nights and weekends on aregular basis but in return you will be given days off midweek acompetitive salary and a rewarding career path that could lead toan operations director role in thefuture.
The ability to work with ourcasual teams on the ground whilst maintaining high levelstakeholder relationships is key we need a doer who is excellent atcompleting multiple tasks per day pervenue.
Stadium deliver services tomajor events & football clubs across the UK includingChelsea Man United Wigan Athletic/ Warriors Leicester City DerbyWolves alongside oneoff events such as Silverstone F1 LancashireCricket Club and summerfestivals.
Responsibilities include(but are not limited to):
Responsiblefor the ongoing management and development of the operations team(1 Head of Event Ops 1 Operations Manager 1 Operations Coordinator5 Event Day Managers) evaluating and monitoring performanceensuring they receive feedback on their performance via monthly 121s areas of improvement are identified and receive continuedcoaching and mentoring.
Lead allservice lines including but not limited to Event Traffic ManagementSIA DS & CCTV Security Event Stewarding Hostile VehicleMitigation Event Parking &Sales
Ensure all events have anoperations pack including up to date risk assessments trafficmanagement plans crowd management plans & commercialplans.
Work in partnership with otherfunction heads to anticipate future operational needs managingresources efficiently and effectively to meetrequirements.
Management of allcompany equipment stock vehicles and uniforms across theUK
Implement strategies to ensurecompany growth and services development managing our operations andretaining customers.
Be an industryleader on innovations and attend industry events such as FSOA& SGSA. Have a good understanding of Chapter 8 trafficsigns manual Green Guide & PurpleGuides.
Work closely with theStaffing & Recruitment Manager and Training Dept to ensurethe correct number and quality of resources are available to ensurefuture needs are met.
Lead on allevent day HR issues and work with HR lead to resolve &rectify.
Lead on all new operationsrecruitment roles and assist in the overall recruitment andstaffing of your deployments.
Managethe welfare safety and morale of 1100 frontline workforce to ensureStadium is the employer of choice within theindustry.
Work with trainingdepartment to ensure all casual workforce have a training pathwayto ensure we remain complaint with stewarding and trafficmanagement guidance.
Ensure allrelevant processes and procedures are followed by the team and arefully compliant with all British Standards and legalrequirements.
As required providedetailed and accurate reports to management highlighting areas ofconcern and escalating any future challenges or risks in a timelymanner.
Ensure the Operations Teamwork closely with Finance/Payroll to ensure hours are recordedaccurately and pay is processed appropriately for workcompleted.
Protect sensitive personaldata ensuring it is handled in full compliance with GDPRrequirements
Fully support otherfunction leads in the ongoing development of client relationshipsensuring an excellent and responsive service is provided at alltimes.
Develop and maintain excellentworking relationships with colleagues ensuring any communicationsare dealt with responsively including attending meetings and anyassistance or contribution required isprovided.
Support the SeniorManagement Team with the production of content for quotes/tendersand attend presentations as required.
Assisting the Managing Director and Senior Management Teamcolleagues with any projects deemedreasonable.
Skills and ExperienceRequired:
Demonstrates excellentinterpersonal and communicationskills
5 years experience in anoperational/events environment.
Willingness to work outside of role to support growth and successof the business often at pace
Proficient in the use of MS applications with attention to detailto produce documents of a highstandard
5 years experience in linemanagement with a proven track record of effective coaching andmentoring
Must live within a dailycommutable distance of Coventry HeadOffice
Must hold UK Driving Licenceextensive UK travel essential
