A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an electrically biased engineer to join a reputable manufacturer in the Stockport area. This role offers training, development, security, and stability. Role Responsibilities:
* Perform maintenance across fully automated production lines and processes, including weekly PPM shutdowns.
* Work on equipment such as mixers, large gas burner ovens, conveyors, spiral coolers, stackers, elevators, baggers, sleeves, metal detectors, SCADA systems, checkweighers, labelers, Fanuc robots, and palletisers.
* Electrical fault finding on control panels, relays, contactors, sensors, switches.
* Electrical and mechanical repairs, PPMs, and continuous improvement projects.
* PLC fault diagnosis and troubleshooting, primarily Mitsubishi and some Allen Bradley systems.
* Maintain and repair motors, inverters, sensors, bearings, pneumatics, gearboxes, and shafts.
Skills and Qualifications:
* At least 3 years of maintenance engineering experience.
* Electrically biased engineer with completed apprenticeship.
* Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments such as FMCG, packaging, plastics, or automotive.
* 17th or 18th Edition electrical wiring regulations.
* Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
