Help us make a difference as Shift Leader at our Facility in Ford.
A quick look at the role.
We are looking for a Team Leader to supervise, lead, motivate and manage the shift production activities at our facility in Ford in line with company standards and health and safety requirements. To deputise and assume responsibility for the shift and site in the Site Manager absence.
Monday - Friday from 9am to 7pm but may be required to work some weekends.
Total of 47.5 hours per week worked.

* Supervise the day shift cleaning team ensuring they are using the correct tools for the job.
* Ensure maintenance and cleaning can be undertaken safely.
* Procedures are adhered to at all times and that the cleaning team is working in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with Biffa procedures.
* When cleaning activities are not taking place assist by working on the picking lines as directed by the Team leader or Site Supervisor.
* Maintain a clean working environment to ensure a smooth running process. This will involve cleaning working areas as instructed.
* Carry out daily checks of designated areas and report to appropriate line manager.
Requirements
Here's what we require:
* Working knowledge of H&S, IOSH (Desirable).
* Knowledge and understanding of ISO accreditations and requirements.
* Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word etc)
* Previous experience and knowledge gained in the waste sector (Desirable)
* Previous management/supervisor experience of working with large teams predominantly in Production/Manufacturing environments (Essential)
* A general understanding on engineering/mechanical principles (Desirable)
