Job Details: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our care home team in Fife Council’s Residential and Day Services (East), on a casual basis, for the position of relief social care worker (night shift). We are looking for a motivated individual with good values and a genuine interest in the care and support of Older People, with experience of care within a highly complex yet rewarding environment.
The successful candidate will undertake the keyworker role, which involves creating, monitoring and reviewing care plans and keeping accurate records of support planning, ensuring that the service user is offered opportunities and care within their care plan.
The Person:
* Must have or be able to work towards: SVQ 3 as required by the Scottish Social Services Council.
* To ensure you achieve registration with the SSSC as part of the Older people’s residential and day services requirement within 6 months of starting in a new role, you must apply for registration within 3 months of your start date.
* Provide care and support which meets the Health and Social Care standards.
* Must be able to work with other Council services and partner agencies to support effective planning and delivery of care.
* You should be able to work flexibly and creatively within a dynamic and ambitious team.
