Venatu Recruitment are proud to announce that an industry-leading client of ours, who is the UK's biggest Galvanizing Company, is looking for several Galvanizing Operatives to join them at their Crediton site! The client is extremely well-established and is the UK's leading figure in its field, having 14 sites nationwide and turning over circa £100 million a year, and is only growing bigger as time goes by! They operate in several key sectors including Rail, Power, and Oil & Gas, and now have several opportunities to join them in success. Due to their busy nature and continued growth, they're now looking for 2 FLT Drivers to join their night shift ASAP!
This role is paying up to £29,640 per annum and is only 36 hours per week! The shift pattern is Monday to Friday: 1 x 12-hour shift (6pm – 6am) and 3 x 8-hour shifts (10pm – 6am).
As a valued member of the team, you will help to deliver our company’s mission of being the ‘UK’s Galvanizer of choice’ through being an integral part of a team that delivers high-quality products and services to all our customers.
You will be based in a factory environment and your main responsibilities include:
* Loading and offloading steel on lorries and company vehicles.
* Ensuring working areas are kept safe and tidy, working with your colleagues and company systems to highlight any concerns.
* Following training and procedures for all production-based activities and practices in your area.
The type of candidate we're looking for is:
* Must possess a forklift (FLT) licence.
* Someone who is a team player, conscientious and has a ‘can-do’ attitude.
* Someone who's physically fit as the work often involves a reasonable amount of physical activity, so it would suit someone who is confident in lifting and handling work (with appropriate training offered to all).
* Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential.
No training is required as full training will be provided!
