Description About the Role Neuron is seeking a visionary and strategic Head of Engineering and Delivery drive the successful execution of our digital initiatives. This senior leadership role will be responsible for fostering a high-performance culture, ensuring alignment between business and technology strategies, and driving operational excellence in delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leadership, and stakeholder engagement with the ability to inspire and develop teams to achieve exceptional outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership to engineering and delivery teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term vision. Cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across engineering and delivery teams. Establish and lead governance frameworks to enhance efficiency, transparency, and decision-making in delivery processes. Partner with senior stakeholders to define and prioritize initiatives that drive business growth and customer success. Champion Agile and Lean methodologies to ensure flexibility, efficiency, and continuous improvement in delivery. Oversee resource planning, budgets, and vendor relationships to optimize performance and value. Communicate and advocate for technology-driven business opportunities with executives and board members. Ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives while managing risk and change effectively. Technical Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions. Drive the adoption of modern engineering practices, including DevOps, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD). Ensure the effective use of cloud technologies and infrastructure to support business objectives. Oversee the architecture and design of complex systems, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards. Implement robust data management and analytics strategies to drive data-driven decision-making. Foster a culture of technical excellence, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and deployment. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organization. Qualifications Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in a senior leadership role, such as Head of Engineering, Director of Engineering, or similar. Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading multi-disciplinary teams. Track record of driving transformational change, fostering innovation, and improving delivery efficiency. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Experience in strategic planning, governance, and business alignment. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities in complex and fast-paced environments. Experience managing budgets, resource allocation, and large-scale programs. Passion for building a strong organizational culture and developing future leaders. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in leading digital transformation initiatives within complex organizations. Knowledge of industry best practices in leadership, governance, and operational excellence. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and modern software development methodologies. Familiarity with data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
