Job Description
We are recruiting for a locum Litigation Legal Assistant on behalf of a London Local Authority. The successful candidate will join a reputable team who are known to provide great opportunities for development and progression.
The full-time locum assignment will begin on a 3-month initial contract, with a view to extend beyond this, and requires office attendance in South London twice per week. The Litigation Legal Assistant will be joining a small team of Lawyers.
The successful Litigation Legal Assistant will be responsible for:
* Supporting the team of lawyers
* Drafting documents under supervision
* Preparing bundles for court
* Opening and closing files
* Managing team inbox
* Dealing with invoices

The Litigation Legal Assistant role would be a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their existing skills and experience. Due to the nature of this role being a locum position, we require candidates who already have some litigation experience, and ideally have experience of working in local government.
