Reporting directly to the Head of People, the recruitment specialist is a 360-recruitment role which is critical to support our sustainable scale within our primary care and community care NHS musculoskeletal markets. You will be responsible for the provision of high-quality recruitment services for the organisation, and you will be the key to ensuring we get the right people, in the right roles, at the right time. You will help devise the recruitment strategy for the business and will take ownership and responsibility for the delivery of end-to-end recruitment processes. You will be developing recruitment systems and processes, maximising the use of technology to improve recruitment services, and reducing time to hire. You will be delivering on c 10-20 live vacancies at any one time. You'll be someone who transforms proposals into reality and have a track record of doing this elsewhere. Based at home with occasional travel, you'll spend your days largely on MS Teams and on the telephone, advertising vacancies, screening applicants, headhunting talent, organising interviews, and closing candidates managing the full end-to-end recruitment process.
Main duties of the job
You’ll be responsible for effectively administering the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned vacancies including quality checking and placing adverts on job sites including NHS jobs, LinkedIn, and Indeed, arranging interviews, issuing conditional offer letters, and issuing contracts of employment.
You’ll support our HR and Governance Administrator to effectively perform pre-employment checks such as DBS, ID verification, professional registration checks and reference checks for successful candidates, in line with NHS Employment Check Standards.
You’ll support our HR and Governance Administrator to process certificate of sponsorship applications when necessary, using the UK Visas and Immigration Sponsorship management system (SMS).
You’ll provide an advisory service to hiring managers and applicants to ensure timely completion of recruitment activities and to ensure adherence to recruitment processes, legislations, and best practice.
You’ll create a reporting suite of recruitment measures including time to hire, quality of hire, vacancies within the organisation and status of the vacancy etc in a dashboard format, which should be shared across the business and with key stakeholders.
You’ll ensure we maximise the use of recruitment systems to issue relevant correspondence to applicants and successful candidates.

Person Specification
Experience
* You’ll possess prior experience of working within a fast-paced specialised healthcare recruitment role (either agency or in-house).
* You’ll have experience of advising and or managing recruitment services (both high volume and specialist) and resourcing activities with strong governance and standards achieved throughout.
* You’ll have worked with NHS GP practices, PCNs, CCGs, and/or other public sector organisations.
* You’ll have experience of complying with NHS Employment Check Standards.
* You’ll be able to evidence previous development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and practices in relation to recruitment activities.
* You’ll be able to show evidence of previously using the UK Visas and Immigration Sponsorship management system.
