We have a Customer Service Support role available within TATA Steel’s Shotton works. The department specialises in pre finished steel and coiling solutions to a range of customers. This role is ideal for someone with strong IT literacy skills and is proactive, a clear communicator and holds good attention to detail.

Working Arrangement:
100% office based for training (4 weeks) and hybrid working thereafter (X2 days office based).
Rate:
£14.01ph (£26601 annually)
Contract Length:
12 months initially
Shift Patterns:
Mon-Thu 08:30-16:45 and Fri 08:30-15:45
Start:
ASAP (within 1-2 weeks)
Responsibilities:
1. Providing a high level of customer service to new and existing customers via telephone and email.
2. Entering numerical and personal data onto the system efficiently and in a timely manner.
3. Processing pre-calculated orders into the system for distribution.
4. Managing data and coordinating activities to ensure the smooth operation of the department daily.
5. Supporting the Urban Business team with administrative tasks relevant to the department.
6. Signposting customers in the right direction for any invoice queries.
7. Undertaking follow-up enquiries.
Essential Requirements:
1. Good IT literacy especially with MS Office.
2. Previous experience within an office environment.
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
4. Clear and concise telephone manner.
5. Ability to work on own initiative.
6. Great eye for detail.
7. Previous data/order entry experience (low and high volume).
Desirable Requirements:
1. Driving licence and use of a car.
2. Previous use of SAP.
3. Previous experience within the Steel industry.
