Could that be you? Role Summary We are looking for a systems administrator to maintain our IT infrastructure and manage security compliance.
Our IT estate consists of primarily Windows/OS X laptops and a number of Linux servers.
The role is based in our Bristol office.
Occasional travel may be required to our Derby office and Datacentre in South Wales.
A full UK Manual driving license is required.
Responsibilities Technical Support : Provide first-line technical support to colleagues, assisting with hardware and software issues.
Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, and servers.
Software Installation : Assist in the installation, configuration, and updates of software applications and patches.
Hardware Maintenance : Lead on the setup, maintenance, and inventory management of IT hardware.
Documentation : Maintain accurate records and documentation of IT systems, procedures, and user requests.
Security Compliance : Enforce IT security policies and best practices.
Lead on the IT aspects of ISO27001, ISO9001, CE compliance and auditing.
Personal Qualities and Technical Skills: Lead or participate in IT projects and initiatives.
Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems.
Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff and business units.
Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
