Assist the sales desk with the execution of primary and secondary distribution: Ø Assist in the preparation of liquidity analysis Ø Work with syndicate to prepare feedback reports for primary syndications and to consolidate feedback and coordinate Q&A Ø Follow secondary trades post trade and proactively assist in smoothing settlement issues 2. Provide research and market analysis information for the sales desk and guide the desk intern: Ø Maintain an investor activity database and devise new ways to track activity Ø Track trades and log sales for the team members Ø Produce analysis and internal summaries on market developments / investor behaviour Ø Monitor fund flows / CLO and warehouse activity Ø Monitor selected secondary levels and source market information from public sources to assist in secondary trade recommendations and build LOR records for targeted secondary names 3. Market primary and secondary loans to a portfolio of investors Ø Maintain regular dialogue with these investors Ø Engage in marketing activities and seek new investors for our core products Management and Reporting - The Sales person will report to the Head of Sales - Attend (and from time to time present at) a daily sales call and also weekly market calls as requested to review market strategy, exchange ideas and receive updates on any important administrative matters - Ensure that internal systems are up to date and regular client call notes are distributed within the sales team and to other internal parties as required Control - Ensure clients are suitably classified (under FCA rules) and are dealt with appropriately - Ensure clients are cleared by credit, legal, compliance and back office before trading (onboarding) and proactively maintain KYC files for coverage Risk - Adhere to and understand risks to the bank and the client resulting from marketing initiatives or successful conclusion of transactions. - Ensure the Head of Sales is made fully aware in a timely fashion of all matters that might have a material impact on the team performance, risk position or compliance with legal or regulatory requirements.
