As an Autism Teaching Assistant, you will support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them access the curriculum and engage in learning. Your role will involve working closely with teachers and other professionals to create an inclusive and supportive environment for students with autism. Responsibilities Supporting students with Autism both in and out of the classroom. Assisting in developing and implementing personalised learning strategies. Helping manage classroom behaviour and promoting positive learning experiences. Collaborating with staff and external professionals to provide comprehensive support. Requirements Previous experience as an Autism Teaching Assistant or in a similar role. A compassionate approach to supporting students with autism. Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
