As BakerHicks continues to expand and provide exemplary services to clients across project, programme, and portfolio management, a dedicated Business Consultancy team has been established. This team will provide high end business advisory services across all BakerHicks Business Sectors, Business Units and Geographies that will:
* Be profitable and sustainable
* Grow on a yearly basis
* Act as an enabler to position the design, engineering and delivery disciplines for project commissions
Reporting into the Managing Consultant, as Consultant - Delivery & Advisory, you will support both delivery oversight and P3M advisory services, assisting with project governance, controls, performance reporting, and best practice implementation. You will assist in managing project governance, risk management, and quality controls across client projects and portfolios, support P3M3 maturity assessments, provide advice on P3M best practices (e.g., Prince2, MSP, P3O, ITIL, Agile), and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
You will also contribute to project controls and reporting, tracking performance and providing insights to senior stakeholders and help conduct assurance reviews, independent assessments, and assist in preparing client deliverables, reports, and proposals.
Key Objectives
* You will play a key role in supporting both the Delivery Support and P3M Advisory teams in delivering high-quality consultancy services to clients.
* You will assist with project, programme, and portfolio management activities, focusing on governance, controls, and performance monitoring, while also supporting P3M maturity assessments, advisory on best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* This dual role offers exposure to a wide range of methodologies and project management functions, allowing you to develop expertise in both areas.

Requirements
Education
* A degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Experience of management frameworks (e.g., Prince2, MSP, P3O)
Experience
* Some experience in project, programme, or portfolio management, within a consultancy in a professional services business.
* Experience or exposure to project controls, reporting, and governance frameworks.
Skills
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and present project performance data.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with clients and team members.
* A proactive, collaborative approach to working within cross-functional teams.
* Basic understanding of project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
