Job Title: Conveyancing Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer / Legal Executive Location: Brighton Office Hours: 9am – 6pm Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience Experience Level: Minimum 3 years PQE Job Summary: Our client, a well-established law practice, is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will have the expertise to handle a diverse conveyancing caseload independently and manage between 25-30 new residential files each month, including both freehold and leasehold residential sale and purchase files. Key Responsibilities: Caseload Management: Independently manage a substantial caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, new builds, and shared ownership properties. Documentation Review: Review and check contract documentation, mortgage offers, and search results thoroughly and accurately. Communication: Professionally communicate with clients, third parties, and team members to maintain positive relationships and address inquiries promptly. Problem Solving: Respond effectively to legal queries, addressing complex issues with a problem-solving approach. Process Management: Handle key stages of conveyancing transactions, including exchange of contracts and completion of transactions, ensuring smooth and timely progression. Client Service: Deliver excellent customer service to clients, maintaining professionalism and supporting team objectives to meet company targets. Skills & Competencies: Independence: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and perform a full range of tasks with limited supervision. Teamwork: Work effectively within a team, contributing to a collaborative and supportive environment. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of conveyancing, with the capability to manage a varied caseload with confidence. Attention to Detail: Complete tasks accurately and efficiently within designated timescales. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in conveyancing, with experience handling residential sale and purchase transactions.
