This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the school community by providing essential cover supervisor and teaching assistant support. Key Responsibilities: Cover Supervisor Duties: Manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring a positive learning environment. Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans, maintaining order and discipline in accordance with the school’s policies. Engage and support students with their learning activities. Teaching Assistant Support: Assist teachers in preparing lesson materials and classroom resources. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, especially those with additional needs. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere. Help with administrative tasks, marking, and record-keeping as required. Requirements: Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant in a secondary school is highly desirable. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students. A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to adapt to varying educational needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training in support roles.
