The Role This is a full time, permanent position working in a well established procurement team. The role will have coverage of multiple categories and duties will include: Managing the end to end procurement process from spec to tender through to contract award and contract management Supplier contract management, relationship management and performance management Project management of key strategic procurement projects Identify and reduce non-compliant spend Negotiate and influence key stakeholders in the delivery of compliant contracts to ensure the best value for money The Business Nigel Wright Group is delighted to be working with a well respected, Public Sector organisation in North Yorkshire to recruit a Senior Commercial Contracts Officer due to internal promotion.The Client will support hybrid and flexible working. The Individual The successful Senior Commercial Contract Officer will have/be: Extensive category management-, planning-, project planning experience essential CIPS qualifications and/or PCR procurement experience ideal Strengths in relationship management, stakeholder engagement and analytical skills essential.
