We are looking for experienced Support Workers to join our ever-growing team, to support a lovely young lady with learning difficulties in Corby (NN18). The client is full of energy and no 2 days are the same If youre spontaneous, reliable and have a great sense of humour this is the role for you. CPI training provided by New Horizons Care will be required prior to starting your shifts. Working in this welcoming, supportive and friendly environment you will be providing assistance with everyday living tasks and ensuring she is involved with every aspect of her care, including day to day actives,empower her to live her life to the fullest, as well as your understanding of the principles of dignity and respect, will be key in following routines, carrying out set care plans, and recording and monitoring changes in her behaviour. Our client likes to get out of the house to access her local community, she enjoys shopping, going to the cinema, going out for lunch and exploring new activities. Full support and training will be provided. The shifts are 12 hours shifts, days and waking/sleeping nights, ideally you will hold a full UK driving licence however this is not essential.
