The Opportunity
As our Solutions Consultant, you are primarily responsible for determining and driving the overall strategic, operational, and technical scope of a prospective and/or current customers’ business challenge(s) and aligning to positive business outcomes/results. Part thought leader, part product expert/technologist, part sales, you'll work closely with sales, customer success, professional services, and product teams to prescribe and recommend strategic solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with Enterprise Regional Sales Directors, Account Executives, and Customer Success Managers to identify customer’s business goals and initiatives, and uncover unmet needs and challenges.
2. Consult and partner with various stakeholders from C-Suite Executives to Practitioners to maximize the quality and value of the insights they will gather from UserTesting’s solution.
3. Develop strategic solutions that map to customer’s business goals and initiatives.
4. Provide recommendations and best practices on how UserTesting can address business goals and initiatives, unmet needs, and challenges.
5. Deliver relevant and impactful product demonstrations that impress the value of UserTesting’s solution in relation to customer’s goals & initiatives.
6. Develop a deep familiarity of the UserTesting platform via hands-on training leveraging relevant use cases.
7. Demonstrate understanding and value of customer experience research methodologies conducted via the UserTesting platform.
8. Lead and/or consult on Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) to ensure results address and impact a strategic business goal or initiative.
9. Partner with the Enablement and Marketing teams to develop collateral, content and training to enable the Sales team.
10. Communicate effectively with Sales team regarding sales activities and strategies.
11. Inform the Product teams of trends, use cases, and business impact of how specific capabilities are delivering against customers’ business goals & objectives.
12. Engage in thought leadership and marketing related efforts, such as blogs, webinars, and public speaking.
What we're looking for:
1. 3+ years of extensive experience in a customer-facing or consultative role; preferably as a Solutions Consultant, Solutions Engineer or similar.
2. Excellent analytical, problem solving skills.
3. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be results oriented.
4. Results orientated with an understanding of how the Solution Consulting role supports the sales process.
5. Strong passion for CX practices, research, and technology.
