We have vacancy within the Premix Department working on a 2 Shift System.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Inspecting the equipment in the field to ensure that it is working properly according to specified operating parameters (leaks, pressure, levels etc.) in the context of the production process.
* Following the sequence of production as dictated by the production schedule.
* Carrying out Front-line-maintenance (will be reviewed according to business needs in a safe manner once the appropriate training is provided) and assist maintenance personnel on maintenance tasks.
* To carry out packing tasks so that the products produced are packed and loaded to the prescribed standards with respect to quantity and quality.
* Visual process observations in the field.
* Reporting the findings to the supervisor/fitter.
* Solving non-routine problems in consultation with the supervisor/fitter.
* Adjusting equipment where directed by the supervisor/fitter.
* Cleaning process equipment and plant as required and preparing/charging raw materials for the entire process.
* Identifying opportunities for improvement in preventative maintenance on the basis of observation of plant operation and condition of equipment, installation and infrastructure.
* Preparation and isolation of equipment for maintenance.
* Carrying out work in the dispensary, Label room, control room.
* Carrying out general FLT duties.
* Manual handling of 25kg product bags repeatedly throughout shift.

You Bring
* Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years work experience.
