An opportunity has arisen for an experienced person to join Oxford Health NHS Trust as a Head Housekeeper.
We are seeking someone with strong leadership experience, either from the Healthcare or Hotel industry back ground. The ideal person would self-driven, highly motivated and able to work within a controlled environment, leading a small team.
The role will be based in Highfield unit. Adolescent ward.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for ensuring that a clean and safe environment is maintained at all times for both patients and staff, whilst also managing a small team of Housekeeping staff. This will include the ordering of supplies via the Trust E-ordering system, management of your team's rotas and supervision of staff. Staff training and induction. IT skills are necessary.
