The Radiology Service is building a new and exciting future for its imaging services. You will be joining the team offering clinical cross-site support, providing the highest quality patient-focused care. It will involve dealing with patients, public and staff at all levels. You will provide support to the radiology service, to radiographers and radiologists, which will involve dealing with patients who are very ill or distressed; therefore, good interpersonal and communication skills are essential. In order to maintain patient flow, you may at times be required to undertake/support some clerical duties within the department.
You will be expected to work flexibly, participating in an extended 7-day service out of hours and bank holidays on a rota basis. This role involves a number of imaging modalities and is primarily based at Bassetlaw Hospital but you may be required to travel to all sites.
You should have GCSE English and Maths to grade C or equivalent, proven computer experience, and possess good interpersonal and organisational skills.
Main duties of the job
1. Working with a team of motivated and committed staff to provide a first-class and effective service to all patients attending Radiology.
2. To undertake clinical support tasks as required by the clinical lead.
3. To provide support to consultants and radiographers in the clinical environment.
4. To provide administrative support to the team including documentation of blood results, the use of IT systems, and may include reception and other administrative duties.

Knowledge and Experience
