Description Maintenance Engineer £35,000 to £37,000 plus excellent benefits Full-time, 39 hours, Monday to Friday (8:00am to 4:00pm or 9:00am to 5:00pm) Newhouse (ML1 5SY) We’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join us at our Newhouse depot to help manage the service and maintenance of all mechanical handling equipment (MHE). In this role you’ll also be responsible for the upkeep of our service and repair records; using this information to help analyse trends and support effective planning. What you’ll do Carry out repairs, servicing and maintenance of all MHE at the depot Support the ongoing maintenance and repair of the battery charging unit for MHE Maintain records of all service breakdowns and reactive repairs Make sure all spare parts and accessories are stored safely and securely Support the national fleet department and depot management team to make sure MHE repairs and maintenance costs are controlled This role would suit people who have Experience of MHE repairs, servicing and maintenance A relevant Maintenance Engineering qualification A relevant MHE qualification or a similar electrical/mechanical trade qualification Experience of completing risk assessments Good time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines Why Co-op?
