We are looking for a Repairs Operative to join our in-house Orwell Repairs Service, to carry out day to day responsive repairs and void property works across Ipswich and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Our Repairs Operative's key responsibilities include:
* Working in line with Orwell's vision of fixing repairs first time, improving quality and providing a positive first response.
* Working on your own initiative to ensure that 'call backs' to repairs are minimised and that 'fix right first time' repairs are maximised.
* Dealing with tenant enquiries professionally and courteously.
* Liaising closely with Head Office staff in the notification and reporting of repairs progress.
About You:
Our ideal Repairs Operative will…
* Have good knowledge of general building/construction and experience of general property maintenance.
* Have knowledge of both Carpentry and Plumbing.
* Need to be flexible to change your working day to respond to urgent repair needs if required.
