Arc Partnership is a joint venture between Nottinghamshire County Council and SCAPE, formed in 2016 to support the council in creating an efficient, safe, and sustainable land and property portfolio.

We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Major Projects team and create a real impact by overseeing and project managing all aspects of construction projects, providing coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, and within scope, whilst working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Your new role:

* Lead project management from initiation to final account.
* Develop, manage, and deliver the programme and performance plan for your projects.
* Ensure that robust cost and delivery plans are provided for your projects at feasibility and delivery stage.
* Support design and delivery teams on all aspects of programme and performance.
* Actively contribute to a ‘One Team’ ethos, and full participation in Design and Delivery / Construction Services Teams decision-making.
* Ensure that risk registers are managed at team, programme, and project level with appropriate mitigation, supported by the managed commercial function.
* Ensure that your programme and performance management information, including KPI performance, is in line with business reporting requirements.
* Liaise closely with commercial on monthly and quarterly financial reporting, with financial functional support.
* Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarise the progress of the project.
What you’ll bring:
We’re looking for people who want to drive change and make a significant difference by contributing to the aims of our diverse and inclusive organisation. In addition, you will ideally have:
* Significant experience of project managing construction projects and programmes.
* Prior NEC experience.
* Previous work experience on large commercial projects.
* Proven experience of managing a design function within a multi-facetted construction design, project management, and contracting business.
* Good understanding of construction within Local Government and the wider Public Sector.
* Strong design, commercial, financial, and contractor management skills.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively present technical information, present arguments to influence and persuade audiences with different backgrounds and levels of understanding.
* A basic understanding of sustainability in the workplace, and be committed to supporting the business with its carbon reduction strategy.
