Carpentry Site Manager Required in West London GVR Solutions are currently working alongside an existing client of ours who are a specialist Carpentry and Joinery contractor based in Kent who are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their well established team. They have just landed 3 new projects with one of them being in West London. The project in West London is a refurbishment of an old hospital building so refurbishment experience is essential. Responsibilities of the Carpentry Site Manager: Oversee the day to day running of the site Control and implement health and safety on site Manage quality control and progressive handovers of installation Co-ordinate site activities in line with programme sequence Schedule materials and deliveries in adequate time Attend progress meetings Oversee projects from start through to completion, ensuring works are completed on time Manage record keeping for all contract related correspondence and documentation Provide contract related issue resolution, both internally and externally As a Carpentry Site Manager you must have/be: Experience as a Site Manager Minimum of 5 years experience in the Carpentry and Joinery sector Ability to work to programmes and deadlines and be flexible to adapt to change. Have great attention to detail CSCS Card SMSTS card holder.
