An established construction consultancy firm is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor/ Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in Scotland. You will have the chance to work on a range of different sectors including heritage, education, healthcare and more. Responsibilities:
1. Provide a full range of Quantity Surveying duties, from project inception through to completion, working alongside a project team.
2. Prepare cost plans, estimates, Bills of Quantities, tender documents.
3. Provide construction phase services including change management, contractor payment applications, forecasts and final accounts.
4. Preparation of commercial reports for client use.
5. Working collaboratively with other disciplines to provide an integrated approach to client delivery.
6. Develop client relationships and provide an outstanding level of service delivery on a project basis, in conjunction with senior management.
Requirements:
1. Background in healthcare, education, heritage, residential, or commercial sectors.
2. Experience with JCT and NEC contracts.
3. Degree qualified in a construction related field.
4. Experience in both refurbishment and new-build projects.
5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
6. Chartered status with a professional body in construction would be ideal.
7. Strong leadership skills.
8. Ability to work in fast paced environments.
9. Strong teamwork skills.
10. Strong time management and organisational skills.
