Prior finance experience is not necessary—just a positive attitude and eagerness to learn Ideal Candidate Profile Recent graduate (ideally with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field) Ability to commute to Woking town centre Strong Excel and computer skills High emotional intelligence and excellent interpersonal skills Role Responsibilities As a Graduate Finance Assistant, you will have the opportunity to learn and take ownership of a variety of finance tasks, including: Coding and processing supplier invoices, ensuring accurate allocation to accounts Clearing the backlog of outstanding invoices, handling preparation and distribution Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies promptly Assisting in reviewing and refining invoicing processes for efficiency improvements Supporting the implementation and rollout of a new invoicing system Monitoring and following up on overdue customer payments Preparing weekly and monthly accounts receivable reports for management Collaborating with the finance team to strengthen internal controls and streamline processing Due to the immediate need for this position, we require candidates who are immediately available. Initially offered as a 3-6 month contract, there is strong potential for this role to develop into a longer-term position. Salary & Benefits The salary offered is between £24,000 - £28,000, based on experience and qualifications.
