We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a subspecialty trauma interest who is passionate about the delivery of care for our patients and who enjoys working with like-minded clinicians who share in this vision.
Whether you are looking for your first Consultant post or are an experienced Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultant, we have much to offer, with ample opportunity and encouragement to pursue research, improvement projects, teaching, and supervision.
The successful candidate will join 28 other Consultants, 1 Specialty Doctor, 1 Associate Specialist and 33 Resident Doctors and will be responsible for the management of Trauma and Orthopaedic patients along our care pathways. They will be part of a team managing acute trauma lists, trauma meetings, fracture clinics, and regular Multidisciplinary team meetings.
Responsibilities include:
1. Management of Trauma and Orthopaedic patients along care pathways.
2. Participation in acute trauma lists and trauma meetings.
3. Involvement in fracture clinics and regular Multidisciplinary team meetings.
4. Contribution to a 1 in 16 on-call rota.
