As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in analysing processes, shaping business requirements, and developing solutions that drive efficiency and innovation. Collaborating closely with IT and a range of stakeholders, you'll ensure that business needs are accurately captured, documented, and transformed into meaningful outcomes.

Key responsibilities:
This is a varied and challenging role, but here is a taste of what your day-to-day activities could include:
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with stakeholders from the earliest stages of an idea to shape requirements and deliver tailored technology solutions.
Requirements Definition: Accurately define and document functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring traceability from requirements to solutions and alignment with business objectives.
Process Improvement: Analyse and map complex business processes across departments, identifying opportunities for efficiency and innovation while considering compliance, legal, and operational risks.
Project Initiation: Work with project management and solution architecture teams to ensure thorough project setup for successful delivery, including comprehensive business cases and costed solutions.
Alignment and Review: Present solutions to the Northern Technology Design Authority, ensuring alignment with standards, and conduct requirement reviews at key project stages with relevant stakeholders.

You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively influence stakeholders at all levels. We are looking for a natural leader, capable of shaping ideas and guiding teams toward achieving business goals.

* Strong organisational skills are essential to manage competing priorities and drive complex projects to successful outcomes.
* A proactive mindset, coupled with a collaborative approach, will be key to thriving in this dynamic role.
* Proven experience in an analysis-focused role with technology as all or part of the scope.
* Experience working on complex deliveries and/or in large organisations.
* Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills across multiple industries or project deliveries.
Qualifications Required:
* A-level and/or Degree educated.
* BA Qualification (BCS / IIBA) or proven business analysis experience.
