Junior Site Engineer, 3-5 years of site experience specifically in building construction. Motivated and detail-oriented to join our team in Acton. To provide essential support to the Site Manager and Senior Engineers in the day-to-day management and execution of construction projects. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or individual with limited site experience looking to develop their career in the construction industry. (experience primarily in infrastructure like railways, highways, airports etc will not be relevant). We are currently involved in a range of exciting projects in the Acton area. Responsibilities Assist in the day-to-day management of construction site activities. Monitor and inspect work progress to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports and progress photos. Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and other technical documentation. Conduct site surveys and setting out tasks. Assist in the coordination of subcontractors. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on site. Assist in resolving technical queries and issues that arise on site. Communicate effectively with site personnel and project stakeholders. Assist in the management of site tools and equipment. Learn and implement company procedures and best practices. Qualifications and Technical Skills: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong understanding of construction processes and procedures. Strong understanding of construction drawings, second-fix processes and Quality Control (QC) procedures. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Essential skills in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel are required. CSCS card (desired but not always essential at entry level) A strong desire to learn and develop within the construction industry.
