Staying Well is an innovative service offering out-of-hours support, which is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year to people experiencing acutedistress due to theirmental health difficulties.
The service is going through an exciting transformation to embed closer collaboration between the Voluntary, Community & Social Enterprise Sector (VCSE) and NHS services. We will be moving towards having VCSE Recovery Advisors and Peer Support Workers and an embedded clinician who is managed by Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust.
As the Team Manager you will be working alongside the Service Manager, you will use client feedback and emerging national insights to ensure continuous improvement and psychological safety. You will work alongside other Southdown services and have the support of the wider Southdown team.
The Team Manager will provide line management to a team of Recovery Specialists and will also provide support to clients. You will lead on the day-to-day communication with local partners to promote the recovery and safety of people accessing Staying Well Hastings.
Working pattern
Staying Well Hastings will eventually be open seven days a week. Currently we open 5 over 7 days closed Wednesdays & Saturdays. We are looking for a Team Manager who would enjoy working a mix of 09:00 17:00 and 15:00 23:00 shifts, including some weekends.
Role Summary:
As Team Manager for Staying Well, you will hold management responsibly for the operational delivery and ongoing development of our out of hours crisis prevention service, which supports and empower clients experiencing a mental health decline to safely manage their wellbeing within the community. You will achieve this through providing containing and compassionate leadership for your team, enabling them to maintain resilience whilst delivering an exciting and rewarding service. You will also play a key role in building and maintaining effective relationships with colleagues across the Primary Care Network, Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, and other Voluntary and Community sector providers/alliances.
