Job Title: Procurement Manager
Location: Fully remote
Salary: up to £50,000 per annum
Are you a skilled Procurement Manager looking to make a meaningful impact in the public sector while enjoying the flexibility of remote work?
Our client aims to provide support for health and care services and is looking for an individual to lead on exciting projects within the procurement department.
As a Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring procurement processes, compliance with regulations, and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organisational objectives and public sector regulations.
2. Lead the procurement process from sourcing to contract management, ensuring transparency and compliance.
3. Evaluate supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to optimise value for the organisation.
4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and provide strategic advice and support.
5. Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
6. Oversee the development of tender documents, evaluate bids, and recommend decisions in accordance with procurement policies.
7. Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
