* MASH Directorate: Children's Services Service/Division: MASH Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday Location: Hybrid - 1 week in the office, 1 week WFH Number of Positions: 1 Pay Rate: 33.30 LTD Job Overview: As a Social Worker in the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), you will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to address the needs of children and their families at the right time. You will maintain high standards of practice and demonstrate excellent time management to ensure timely intervention and support for children and young people in Walsall. This role requires working closely with partner agencies to improve children's lived experiences and protect them from harm. Key Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with partner agencies to apply appropriate thresholds and deliver timely outcomes for children, young people, and their families. Ensure high-quality practice and timely interventions for safeguarding children. Use strong analytical skills to assess and understand the needs of children and families. Maintain transparent communication with families, building on their strengths to support positive outcomes. Demonstrate professionalism and accountability in working within a multi-disciplinary team. Skills & Qualifications: Strong communication and collaborative skills. Good analytical abilities to assess and improve outcomes for children. Experience in MASH or a similar environment is preferred. Commitment to open, honest, and strength-based work with families.
As a Social Worker you are required to:
* Hold a Social Work England registration
* Be eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
