Due to an internal promotion, I am working on a great opportunity to join this international family-run brand in their busy customer service team.
Although the role is titled customer service, the duties are not particularly customer-facing and are much more administrative-focused, so good admin skills and numeracy are important, as is strong Excel knowledge.
Although the team is small, they are close-knit and supportive; the management is team and development-focused and very friendly.
Duties will include:
* Process customer orders, input into order entry systems, and organize the appropriate logistics to ensure deliveries are on time and in the correct locations.
* Ensure all customer orders are invoiced through the appropriate systems.
* Generate daily order capture reports.
* Generate month-end open order reports.
* Raise credit notes.
* Work closely with the supply team.
* Liaise directly with customers, hauliers, and other third parties.
* Assist with European customers' orders, queries, and hauliers.
* Create and document standard operating procedures for all tasks.
* Work as part of the team covering other functions as and when required.
* Assist head of operations and customer service manager with project work as required.
Location: Based at their small offices in Duxford (driving licence essential due to location).
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm, Hybrid working Tuesday and Thursday in the office; remaining days can be worked from home.
Salary: £30-35K
Training provided, but an interest in the drinks industry or previous experience would be an advantage.
